Damascus Steel and Blade Detail

The blades are carefully hand forged using VG10 & 15N20 steel through a process of layering, welding, hammering, and shaping. This forging process creates a distinctive Damascus pattern across every blade, giving each knife its own unique appearance similar to a fingerprint. Each knife in the set is individually handcrafted and visually distinctive.

VG10 Damascus steel is known for its strength, corrosion resistance, and edge retention, making it well suited for professional and everyday kitchen use. The steel is oil quenched at approximately 2100°F and rapidly cooled twice to enhance durability and hardness. The finished blades achieve approximately HRC 62–65+ on the Rockwell Scale for dependable cutting performance and edge retention.

Scales & Handle

The elegant handles are handcrafted using exotic stabilized & stained ebony burl wood combined with resin composite. The stabilized burl wood provides distinctive natural grain and color, while the resin adds visual depth and durability. Each handle is carefully sealed and finished to help prevent cracking, drying, and moisture absorption. Brass mosaic pins add strength and decorative detail, while full tang construction extends the blade steel through the handle for added stability and balance.
